While California law designates certain individuals as Mandated Reporters, we strongly encourage everyone, staff and volunteers alike, to report any reasonable suspicion of abuse or neglect. This page provides instructions for completing the required training and how to file a report with the appropriate authorities. Reporting to Authorities

If you have a reasonable suspicion of child abuse or neglect, you must report it immediately. This is done using the official Suspected Child Abuse Report (BCIA 8572) form. After completing the form, submit it to the appropriate authorities as required.
